description: LOCALITY: Kintore Open Cut, Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia (KW) 2 1/4" across This piece was mined during the late 1980's from the Kintore Open Cut. It consist of a group of small, off white, opaque, lustrous crystals of anglesite. When the yellowish anglesite crystals are exposed to direct sunlight, they change to a pale powder blue color within just a few minutes. This property is exhibited by few other mineral specimens.
