LOCALITY: Sepon Mine, Laos

4" across

The azurite crystals of this wonderful specimen are all slippery looking and definitely as lustrous as polished glass. All of the crystals are "linarite blue." This is characteristic of azurite crystals from any locality that are really malachite pseudomorphs after azurite with a thin veneer of azurite over the surfaces of the pseudomorph.

This piece was acquired from a primary source supplier in mid 2013.
