Bustamite with galena

2" across

LOCALITY: North Mine, Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia

Bustamite is not a rare mineral in the Broken Hill ore body although it is known to occur at few other localities. Two of the dominant crystals of this piece are doubly terminated. Hence, this is a much finer than average bustamite with galena specimen.

I bought this piece during a visit to Adelaide, South Australia (state) in October 2014.
