<br /><br />The Elmwood Mine has produced since the 1980's and is arguably the world's greatest calcite crystal producing mineral locality. This piece consist of a mainly transparent calcite crystal twin perched on a well proportioned sphalerite matrix. The crystal faces in the midsection of the calcite are associated with the twinning. This piece was bought from Dan Weinrich in December 2017.
