It is such a rare mineral in the form of display specimens that it is not represented in most collections since it is almost impossible to buy in a quality level suitable for most display mineral collections.

Musonoi is a mine within 40 km of the mining center of Kolwezi in Katanga province. Since it is a working uranium mine, mineral collecting on this is prohibited. Musonoi is also famous for being the world's premier locality for torbernite.

This piece was bought from Dylan Stolowitz at the Denver Show in 2009.

Matthew Webb collection and photo
