Hubnerite, Pasto Beuno, Peru
description: This exceptional Peruvian hubnerite was formerly in the Carnegie Museum collection. It was part of the Freilich mineral collection but did not sell at the auction in early 2001. Since this fine crystal was not vertically mounted and since it was displayed as part of a group, this fine quality crystal was easy to overlook. I bought it from Robert Lavinsky during a visit to San Diego, California in mid 2002. I resold it to MIM Museum via Robert Lavinsky in late 2004. I would love to trade it back from MIM Museum. I always welcome barter proposals that involve pieces that were historically mine.
