This is one of the finer miniature sized specimens from Milpillas.  The crystal faces are as lustrous as polished glass and the crystals are gemmy and free of damage</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The cuprite crystals glow bright red in sunlight and even deeper red under an incandescent globe.  When viewed under a fluorescent tube, the crystals are steel black in color.  Hence, the Milpillas cuprite specimens are dichroic.  </p> <p style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p style="text-align: justify;">I acquired this piece via a trade with Robert Lavinsky in July 2016.   </p>
