description: 2 1/4" ac This piece was removed from the Kintore Open Cut at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia during the late 1980's. It consist of a group of small, white, opaque but lustrous crystals of anglesite. When the yellowish (as seen in the photo) crystals are placed in direct sunlight, the change to a pale powder blue color before one's very eyes. I have not seen this property in any of the other mineral specimens that I have come across over the years.
