Smithsonite (zinc carbonate) is a mineral species that I like and would like to own more of. I am interested in any high quality smithsonite specimens from Tsumeb, Namibia. I would also like to own at least one high quality smithsonite specimen from the Kelly Mine, New Mexico. I particularly like green smithsonite and would like to acquire high quality botryoidal apple-green smithsonite specimens from the '79 Mine, Arizona. Tiger, Arizona is a great polymetallic deposit that also produced smithsonite specimens that somewhat resemble smithsonite specimens from Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. This locality got me started with my interest in smithsonite. High quality colored smithsonite specimens from the popular Mexican smithsonite producing localities are also of interest.
