Stibnite, China; 10" tall

This fine crystal cluster is from the Wuning Mine, Qingjiang, Wuning County, Jiujiang, Giangxi, China.  It was formerly in the collection of Professor Stephen Smale. It was also pictured in "The Smale Collection - Beauty in Natural Crystals." It also displays well when viewed from the reverse side.  Stibnite is an antimony sulfide and is mined as antimony ore.
