Even ugly microscopic stolzite specimens are rare. Attractive stolizte specimens like this one are a one in a lifetime experience for only a few collectors in the world.  Stolzite is a lead tungstate that reached its ultimate development at Broken Hill and the small number of pieces in collections are mainly in museum collections and were mined before 1900.  This pieces was in the collections of "The Museum of Victoria" and Milton Lavers of Broken Hill.
