Tetrahedrite and other species from Cornwall!
description: <p style="text-align: justify;">This specimen consist of tetrahedrite mainly encrusted with golden colored chalcopyrite with galena. Both of these species are on a matrix of white quartz pseudomorphs after barite. <br /><br />This historical mineral specimen was mined between 1850 and 1890 from The Herodsfoot Mine, Lanreath, Liskeard, Cornwall, England. It was formerly in the collection of Kay Robertson of Las Angeles, California. I acquired it from Robert Lavinsky via a trade in September 2017.
